Tactical Advice

Great article at ZeroGov. One of the better ones I've read lately. Interesting and very true.

Read and heed.

Train, save money to do it if you have to. Don't make excuses. Carry everywhere. Etc.

Glock 19 is now the handgun of choice for US Special Operations

Weapons Man, a former US Army 18 series operator, gives us the low down on what's happening in the special operations world. Anyone who has used a Glock and has also used any of the other choices that the community has had (Sig P226, P228/M11, 1911, M9, etc.) could have seen this coming.

Glock just about has it in the bag. Thanks to Weapons Man for the info. He does have the connections.

The iron will to resist, an example set by Hans and Sophie Scholl

This story of the White Rose Resistance Group should move you. May we all possess the strength displayed by them in the face of evil tyrants and their version of the Gestapo. Germany in 1942 was a dangerous place to be for freedom loving people.

Instead of "The Walking Dead", we have "The Voting Dead."

Dead people registered to vote. Conspiracy theory?

I think not.

Thanks to Tyler Durden at Zero Hedge. You should be reading ZH, daily.

Sultan Knish speaks the truth on events in Charlotte

Daniel Greenfield over at Sultan Knish has it 100% right in this piece. What he says could be easily applied to the long past events of Ferguson, Missouri in 2014 and to many events since then. "Black lives matter" protests can often be more correctly referred to as riots. It's hard to focus on supposedly "peaceful" protestors when nearly every major protest devolves into rock throwing, window breaking and car burning.

Whether you agree with the BLM crowd or not, can we at least use proper language? Riots are riots, even if you have some "peaceful" protestors mixed in.

US is ready to cede oversight of ICANN

On September 30, 2016 at 2300 CST (0400 GMT) the US government will cede oversight of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), which will allow ICANN to become a self-regulating international entity. ICANN manages the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority, which is the system of online "domains" such as ".com", ".org" and ".net".

This means that nations hostile to the idea of freedom of speech, such as Russia, China or Iran, could effectively have just as much sway over freedom of Internet traffic as anyone else in the world.

Here is my question: How long before the Internet comes under the control of the globalist UN?

Combat medicine information from Brushbeater.

You wou expect that being a medical professional, I might have posted much more than I have on medical topics, but that's not been the case. I will try to correct that in the future, and for now I'll leave this for you from Brushbeater, a blog you should be visiting regularly.

We'd all love to prepare well enough to avoid any need for emergency combat medical skills, but to think that way is to think unlike a survivalist.

28 pages that point the finger at Saudi Arabia.

Recently Congress declassified 28 pages from the 9-11 report that were previously classified at a "Top Secret" level, and while reading it I was able to discern that the report also had additional classification "caveats", specifically the SCI, HCS and NOFORN caveats. These mean "sensitive compartmented information", "HUMINT Control System" and "No Foreign Nationals", respectively. As a former human intelligence (HUMINT) professional, I had access to these types of information and recognized these markers right away. This information was EXTREMELY HIGHLY CLASSIFIED, and would have been accessible to only a handful of individuals outside of the HUMINT collectors, SIGINT collectors and intel analysts of the CIA and FBI that originally reported the information.

The pages show a very strong connection between Saudi intelligence officials and several of the 9-11 hijackers. This is not a conspiracy theory. At least one Saudi Embassy employee was named in the report, a security guard. More importantly, the report shows that a Saudi Interior Ministry official was also connected to at least one hijacker, but was able to leave the US before FBI agents could locate and interview him. If you're so inclined, you'll also read how Saudi officials were involved in providing Saudi government funding (to the tune of more than $3,000 USD per month) to some of the hijackers during the months leading up to the attacks.

Read the 28 pages for yourself here straight from the source. If you must save time, skip a few pages down to page 6 and start there. Within one paragraph it should start becoming clear.

From "Fred on Everything."

"Fred on Everything" has it right in regards to racial anger and how Obama has fueled the fire.

Instead of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs...

Are you being observant of the Survivalist's Hierarchy of Needs?

1. Shelter
2. Water
3. Food
4. Security (Yes, this would be the guns part.)

Don't forget the other needs as well.

5. Medical supplies and skills
6. Communication
7. Transportation
8. Intelligence
