RoK on White Privilege

Here's a twist on what white privilege really means in the US.

You're being replaced. Keep fooling yourself into think that we are just one big happy family of Americans. We're not.

Unless your version of a family is one where nearly half of the members want most of the others dead.

A quick coda on “civil rights.”
Once the metaphorical (or literal, in the case of the United States) social contract has been “signed,” natural rights (are supposed to) become codified as civil rights, as part of a fixed, knowable rule of law. Among the civil rights most commonly thought of as essential are those that pertain to justice, such as
  • The right to be responsible only for one’s own crimes
  • The right to a speedy and public trial
  • The right to an impartial jury
  • The right to be informed of the crime of which one is accused
  • The right to be confronted with the witnesses

  • The right to be free from excessive fines
  • The right to habeas corpus
  • The right to be confronted with one’s accuser
  • The right to take those actions needed to prevent criminals from repeating crimes, within the bounds of what is required to do so.

A quote, off of the usual topics.

I'm supposed to care about campaign finance law violations?

Congressional democrats (along with some republicans) have been up in arms about possible violations of campaign finance law by the Trump campaign (before it became the Trump Administration, much to the detriment of the mental stability of about 40% of the US population) they managed to dig up while searching for Russian agents behind every corner. Somehow I'm supposed to care about that and be as outraged as the media tells me to be.

They say he used some money to pay people who might say bad things about him, to NOT say bad things about him. Right?

This coming from Congress, the very group of people who have a slush fund of hush money (taxpayer dollars, of course) that they use to pay off victims of abuse by members of Congress themselves.

Forgive me for not giving a damn that Trump paid a few dollars to a dirty hooker to close her mouth (for once) about something that happened years before he got elected.

Read the article and you'll see why I don't care, and why you shouldn't either.

We didn't elect him to be the saint that he never was. We elected him as a warning.

It's a gun grabber meme, but it's serious.

Give to the third world asylum seekers until it hurts?

When I've been told that God, or the Church, dictates that we must "give to the needy until it hurts", I have been giving a certain reply when the conversation specifically concerns migrants and asylum seekers from the third world. It's always either someone on the left telling me that I have to "give until it hurts", or it's someone who fancies themselves being on the right, but are confused about their role in the situation, and have mistakenly planted themselves with the left.

I tell them "God wants me to give to the needy until it hurts, for the sake of helping the needy. You want me to give until it hurts, for the sake of hurting me."

A very high percentage, the majority in fact, of third world migrants and asylum seekers are not "needy". They're not women and children escaping violence and poverty. The majority, upwards of 75%, are single, unaccompanied, military aged males, and they're bringing the violence and poverty with them.

They have no intention of learning the language or assimilating into the culture. They skip past the first safe countries they move through in the Middle East until they reach the safe countries that they're actually trying to get to. Namely, Western Europe.

Once they arrive, the women are not safe and the children are not safe. These savages from the third world look at white women and children like a predator looks at it's prey, they look at our culture and way of life the same way.

Some studies on crime, race and poverty.

We are told often that the best predictor of crime in an area is poverty. And of course after that we are told that the most common cause of poverty is the evil white man keeping the virtuous brown and black people down.

These ideas are never backed up with facts or evidence, and we're told that the debate is over because due to the elevated position of white men in society, we are unaware and can not perceive the institutionalized racist behavior we exhibit. Therefore, we must simply take their word for it and do whatever they tell us to do in an effort to make up for our crimes.

Not so fast.

I present to you some studies, complete with real life facts and evidence, all contrary to the emotional vomit you'll hear from the social justice brigade.

Race is a better predictor of crime than poverty, and the best predictor of crime in an area is the population percentage of blacks and Hispanics in that area.

Higher concentrations of melanin correlate to increased levels of aggression.

The average IQ for blacks is about 85, while the average IQ for whites is just above 100.

The average criminal has an IQ of 85.

Word of warning. Social justice warriors may become violent upon hearing any of these studies. Have a plan.

"There was a dream that was Rome."

From the movie Gladiator in 2000, the character Marcus Aurelius said "There was a dream that was Rome. You could only whisper it. Anything more than a whisper and it would vanish, it was so fragile."

The character was correct, of course. A republic is fragile, and is blown away by a "whisper", that being the whisper of the part of the human psyche the produces things like greed and selfishness. These things lead voters to vote favors to themselves and punishments to their perceived enemies. It leads people in positions of power to seek more power, or to fight to maintain their power longer than they deserve to have it, and leads them to wield it as a weapon.

One major thing to consider is that when republics fall, they don't always just go away. They often turn into something else. A monster rising from something that was once good. The Roman Empire rose from the Roman Republic.

Ben Franklin, when asked whether the Founders had produced a monarchy or a republic, stated "a Republic! If you can keep it."

This was his version of the probably fictional quote from Marcus Aurelius.

This one from Ayn Rand is relevant as well: "The only power any government has is to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws."

When this comes to pass, as it likely already has, you know that your republic is gone.

My viewpoint on "conspiracy theories", and my list of the ones that were proven.

I know the internet is full of these types of lists and I suppose that putting this together is a bit redundant. The reason I have for writing this is because of some issues I see with some, rather most, of those lists. They'll claim that they have a list of ones proven to be true, but will always add a few that are not, or at least have not been proven to my satisfaction. For instance, if a US government based theory is "proven" true by some guy somewhere who claims he was involved, that really doesn't cut it for me. But if the US government declassifies (perhaps accidentally) some documentation that proves they did something that they probably didn't want us to know, I personally place a higher value on that evidence. However, that's not the only type of evidence I'll accept, of course.

We have to be cautious in labeling events as hoaxes and conspiracy theories because once we determine for ourselves that every event is somehow a hoax or a conspiracy, then it doesn't matter anymore, and no one is going to listen. We are obviously wrong if we claim that everything that comes along is some big Illuminati plot. When people see that we label some event that way, and then they see that we've labeled a million other events the same way, then we've lost the argument from the start. Not everything is a big conspiracy. In fact, most things are not.

A few conspiracy theories that I still believe are false, or at least mostly false:

Moon landing was faked- A powerful enough telescope can show you the equipment we left behind. Even if you still say no one walked there, we surely put some of our gear up there. Aside from that, I still haven't seen the proof we didn't go. No one involved in a hoax has ever come forward, and a fake operation like that would require thousands of people to be involved. Not a single one of them wanted to write a tell-all book? With all the leaks these days, none from the fake moon landing? All we get for "proof" of a fake is dubious analysis of grainy footage and scientific explanations from non-scientists saying we can't launch a craft to the moon.

9/11 was an inside job- Yes, fire fueled by aircraft fuel can cause steel to become pliable enough to bend. No, it doesn't have to melt, it just has to heat up enough to weaken the steel to the point where it can't support the weight of what's on it. We also have not had jumbo jets fly into any of the other tallest buildings in the world. We can't pretend to know exactly how those buildings would behave if struck like that. With that said, continue reading below to see the TRUE conspiracy behind 9-11, with publicly documented, US government reports and testimony from intelligence agents. You don't have to concoct and execute a 9-11 style attack. You can just ALLOW someone else to do it instead. Also, there WAS plane debris around the Pentagon. Lots of it. The photos are widely available.

Sandy Hook was a hoax- This one is admittedly very strange, but I ask you this: Why would the US government undertake such an operation when all they had to do is WAIT for it to happen? An operation of this manner is a very high risk operation with an unknown amount of political reward. High risk, unknown reward? The US government doesn't do stuff with odds like that. Simply waiting for the inevitable to happen and then using it to your advantage is a low risk operation, same unknown reward. I am not ruling out various conspiracies or cover-ups after the fact. That smiling Robbie Parker video was really weird, but I just haven't been given anything more than conjecture, circumstantial evidence and distant, overhead footage of crowds of people walking around. I personally require more than that for something so serious.

Now about the conspiracy theories that turned out to be true. Here we go:

Nayirah's Gulf War testimony was false- The "crazy conspiracy theory" here was that a lot of the persuasive evidence for getting the US into the Persian Gulf War was false. Leading up to the war, a 15 year old Kuwaiti girl named Nayirah was interviewed by Congress on the atrocities she witnessed being committed by Iraqi soldiers in hospitals in Kuwait. This included her testimony that while working in a hospital, she witnessed Iraqi soldiers removing newborns from incubators and dropping them on the floor to die. Turns out that her testimony was entirely false, and she had been coached and trained to lie in these interviews by US public relations firm Hill & Knowlton. She was actually the daughter of the Kuwaiti ambassador to the US. Here is the evidence of Nayirah's false testimony.

Operation Mockingbird- The "crazy conspiracy theory" in this case was that US Intelligence (USI) had infiltrated American media for propaganda purposes. Operation Mockingbird was launched by the CIA in the 1950's to recruit, coordinate, influence and plant journalists and news stories and agendas into the mainstream news media. The goal was the manipulation of the media for purposes of propaganda. The CIA set up and maintained student organizations and cultural groups as front groups to spread propaganda. The operation also included surveillance of certain journalists and news organizations. It's believed that at one point, over 400 US journalists were carrying out instructions given by the CIA. Here is the US Senate report on the activities of the CIA in the American media.

Operation Northwoods- This "crazy conspiracy theory" was the one where the US government would actually launch a deadly attack against American citizens and then frame a foreign power for the attack. Northwoods was the "false flag" plan by the US Department of Defense to launch terrorist attacks against one or more American cities and military targets and place the blame on Cuba in order to sway public opinion in favor of invading Cuba. This would have resulted in numerous American civilian and military deaths. This plan was devised by the Joint Chiefs of Staff and was to be carried out by the CIA. The memorandum itself was signed by the Chairman of the JCS, but the plan was rejected by the Kennedy Administration. This Wikipedia page has a photo of the declassified US government memo on Operation Northwoods. You can see at the top that the original classification was Top Secret with a "NOFORN" caveat, meaning that no release to foreign nationals was permitted.

Joseph McCarthy and the Venona Project- This "crazy conspiracy theory" was advanced by Senator Joseph McCarthy, and basically alleged that the US government had been infiltrated by communist agents at many levels. McCarthy was seen as a sort of crackpot at the time. However, after some deep investigation by Congress, they began to see that he may be correct. Here is information on the Venona Project, which led to the outing of US officials, such as Alger Hiss and Harry White, as Soviet agents. McCarthy was right!

Lee Harvey Oswald didn't act alone- I suppose this is the ultimate "crazy conspiracy theory". The theory is that Lee Harvey Oswald had assistance in assassinating JFK. So was their a second shooter? Congress seemed to think so. The US House Select Committee on Assassinations says that there were at least two shooters, and probably at least four gunshots.

Operation Popeye weather modification- From 1967 through at least 1972, the US government conducted what was called "cloud seeding" in order to extend the monsoon rainy season in Vietnam and Cambodia. The main area of targeting was on and around the Ho Chi Minh Trail. Causing increased amounts and length of rainstorms would wash out roads, river crossings and bridges along the trail, and would soften soil even more so than normal. This was estimated to have over 80% success. These activities now fall under the Environmental Modification Convention. So yes, there is such a thing as weather modification. Is it still happening? We don't know. But if it was possible and so simple in the 1960's, then what do you think we would be capable of today? Here is the page on cloud seeding.

US government poisoning citizens during prohibition- In the 1920's and 1930's, the US government actually poisoned industrial alcohol made in the US, that bootleggers were obtaining and remaking into alcoholic beverages. It's estimated that at least 10,000 people died as a result of being intentionally poisoned by their own government, with scores and scores more sickened. Poisonous methyl alcohol added to the drinkable product is what did the job. Here is the history of the US government poisoning it's own people for having a drink.

Saudi involvement in 9/11- This "crazy conspiracy theory" isn't what you think. I'm not going to make the claim that the government committed the attacks on 9-11. What I have here is actual, declassified, intelligence information reports from US Intelligence showing that the Saudi government was involved in funding and facilitating the attacks. Here are 28 declassified pages, including intelligence reports written by intelligence agents and testimony by same, posted on House.gov, that show that Saudi Arabia was involved in 9/11.

Gulf of Tonkin incident- Here is another example of the US government fabricating events in order to increase public support for a war effort. This event was a confrontation between US and North Vietnamese warships in the Gulf of Tonkin. President Johnson himself had later privately stated that for all he knew, our sailors had been "shooting at whales out there". In 2005 it came to light that the NSA had deliberately altered intelligence reports passed to lawmakers in order to make it appear that North Vietnamese vessels had attacked US vessels. Here is the information on the incident, and the evidence of the falsified reports.

Project MKUltra- For this "crazy conspiracy theory", it was said that the US government was attempting to develop and use mind control techniques. MKUltra was the codename for a series of experiments conducted on US citizens in order to develop and test mind control drugs and techniques. The CIA and the US Army's Biological Warfare Laboratories organized and ran the operations. The project began in 1953 and was not officially ended until 1973. Abuse, including sexual abuse of children, was part of the project, as was surreptitious administration of drugs, such as LSD. Here is the Wikipedia page on MKUltra.
COINTELPRO- This was a program that took place from 1956 through at least 1971 where the FBI used surveillance and infiltration to disrupt and discredit domestic political organizations deemed "subversive". Many people, myself included, firmly believe that these sort of activities were happening prior to 1956 and continue to this day, as evidenced by events such as the Bundy Ranch standoff and the siege at the Malheur Wildlife Refuge, where the group of Bundy supporters were heavily infiltrated by FBI agents, even such that at Malheur, most of the occupiers were FBI informants. The FBI has a long history of infiltrating political groups in order to disrupt their functions. COINTELPRO is publicly documented.

There are many more examples of "crazy conspiracy theories" that have been publicly documented and proven. CIA drug smuggling, the Tuskegee experiments, the Iran-Contra affair, all of them have been proven true. The most important thing to remember about the things you've read here is not only that they happened, but it shows what governments, including our government, are capable of. Many of these things didn't come to light until many years after the fact. What could be going on behind the curtain today that we will find out about in the coming years? Why have so many people convinced themselves that these kinds of things couldn't possibly take place anymore?

40,000 all-time pageviews.

It's not going to sound like much to some people, especially some of the people who have much larger audiences, but to me, having our thoughts here looked at by over 40,000 people is pretty cool.

While I don't get myself overly invested in the views and attention, I do appreciate any amount of time that any of you spend here. Yeah, even the bots, if there are any. Russian agents too. Especially the Russian agents.

Viewership could skyrocket to a million, or drop to zero tomorrow, and it would be alright with me. But in the meantime, thanks again for spending a few minutes here, and as always, feel free to let me know what you think of what we have to say.

Especially the Russian agents.

Public exchange between me and a Florida gubernatorial candidate.

Public online exchange between me and John Joseph Mercadante, Republican gubernatorial candidate in Florida:

JJM: "Usually we’re not at war with the people, it’s their leaders that are the issue."

Me: "Leaders come from the people. Leaders are a reflection of the people. The US Army should be used to kill people and break things, and if "the people" want to stand around and laugh with someone, they can hire a comedian. Besides, if we are at war with the leaders, then logically speaking, OUR leaders should go fight the war themselves. Leaders against leaders. Or do modern day politicians prefer to lead from the rear?"

JJM: "We do not go to war to kill every living human in that Country, Venezuela is a prime example. Hypothetically, if we were to go to war with them and wipe out all the Venezuelan people, no more problem, correct? No, it’s similar to a surgery, cut out the cancer and make sure it’s 99.999% gone. General Manual Noriega of Panama, we finally got him, brought him and held him at Krome Detention Center to (sic) close to where I live. Nothing was going to fly into that zone except our military, when you extract a leader of a foreign country, you make sure he doesn’t return (by an act of war). Then you monitor, very closely, who will be the new leader. We had no issue with the Panamanian citizens, his loyalists in his military and a few hold outs were the problem and quickly contained. War is not to only kill, it’s a strategy to achieve and accomplish a specific goal. You are correct, leader (sic) come from the People and when they forget that they are servants of the People, they have to be removed. Money is not the great corrupter, power is, then that leads to money."

Me: "'Leaders come from the People and when they forget that they are servants of the People, they have to be removed.' Interesting statement. It will be even more interesting if we come to that point in American history. How do you feel about the Second Amendment, Mr. Mercadante? What is the true purpose of it, in your opinion?"

JJM: "I took an Oath to defend the Constitution, that is chiseled in stone, it’s my Honor, my good word. To answer your question, I’m a current, card carrying NRA member and have been at many Gun shows representing the Republican Party of Florida. Thank you for your service."

Me: "I appreciate your support for my service, and I am also a NRA member. What I want is for more politicians (and candidates) to acknowledge that the 2A is a written description of a natural right that we have as humans to possess tools to defend ourselves without being limited by government. The 2A is in place specifically to ensure that The People have the ability to defend themselves from government aggression. It has nothing to do with hunting, a little to do with stopping burglars, and MUCH to do with keeping our government officials and agents in check."

Will update, if there is anymore discussion.

Draw from holster and fire quickly.

Below you'll see a pic of a shot I fired yesterday at 7 yards. I drew from the holster, got sights on target, both eyes open, fired one shot, all in under one second. That silhouette is about half man-sized.

I find that just standing and firing round after round at the target, from time to time I have to stop myself and readjust and get back into the fundamentals, because at some point you start to get lazy if you don't keep focusing on that. But with the quick draw and fire, a lot of my rounds end up close to where that one did. There's no anticipating the recoil, no bad trigger squeezes, no bad sight pictures, etc. Of course not every shot lands in the X but you may notice that you're shooting much better than you thought you would at that speed.

It's important to develop this skill set. Your attacker may not give you more than one second, and certainly won't give you the time to roll through your fundamentals and get yourself set right for a shot.
