A prediction.
The republicans have said that they absolutely will not hold any confirmation hearings for Obama's recent SCOTUS nominee, Merrick Garland.
My prediction is that they absolutely will, possibly as soon as June or July.
I'm glad to say that no confirmation vote was ever held for Merrick Garland, though I submit to you that I had good reason to believe that the republicans would break their promise. My reason? They almost always do break their promises.
