i have been to two of the places listed. Iraq and Mexico. Cultural relativists will insist that these countries are no more dangerous than anywhere else in the world. Even many who travel to these places journalists and NGO workers will insist they are safe places. Mind you they are under 24/7 guard and generally do not mix with general society. I dealt with a missionary in Iraq that insisted that it was safe. He was a leftist from Germany representing the Church of Germany.
