As a crazy 2016 comes to a close...
Everyone needs to "stay frosty" and "keep your powder dry" and all that stuff. Don't stop buying guns and ammo. Get a rainwater collection and filtration system set up for yourself. Store away food for long term outages. Train, read, research, collect information on your area and the outside areas. Trump is not the savior. He may make some good changes, might make some bad ones.
Hurricanes still happen. Societies still collapse. Economies still fall.
Don't stop prepping.
Happy New Year, we're still here, but get ready for a bumpy ride.
NSA code breaking "legend" says Russian hacking accusations are false.
Let me make a point here: Let's assume for argument's sake that the Russians DID hack into the servers and make the private emails of Hillary and her staff public. Do I WANT foreign intelligence security services (FISS) hacking into our databases? Of course not. However, assuming that it has happened, does it change the relevance of the content of those documents? If the Russians hacked the email servers, are we morally or ethically obligated to then ignore the content and implications of those emails? Are we to simply excuse the wrongdoings that are exposed by those emails just because FISS is the one responsible for their exposure? Is it to be expected that we omit these findings from our decision-making when it comes to casting votes?
Absolutely not, and no honest person would argue otherwise.

Retaliation against Russia?
In other news, apparently 0bama's many vacations (one of which he is currently on) have cost taxpayers 90 million dollars. This is why people hold politicians in such contempt. There are so many things that take place in government circles that are facially so absurd, and without logical or rational explanation. I would never ever be one to deny someone a vacation, especially not someone with a job that I'm sure is as stressful as POTUS, but regardless of how badly said POTUS needs or deserves a vacation, the facts of the reality we live in do not give a damn about that. The fact is that we have no money, so how in the world did we pay for all that?
How will the crackdown on patriots be done?

Faithless electors turned more against Clinton than Trump.
In the end, the result is the same, Trump wins, and now it goes on to the House of Representatives for official counting, where they certainly sign off on Trump's electoral victory.
The last event I can think of pertaining to anything is that 0bama has ordered the intelligence community to produce a report on Russian interference in the US election and to have that report on his desk by January 19, the day before Trump's inauguration. My question is: What is he going to do with that report? Is he going to act on it in any way?
In any event, the end of 0bama's two terms, which I refer to as "the punishment", isn't until January 20th.
Stay frosty and confirm your zero.

With the "Liberation" of Aleppo, Western Governments have been Exposed.
An excerpt:
"They have been proven spectacularly wrong about Syria. The liberation of Aleppo this week exposes the Western governments and media in their unrelenting falsehoods and systematic complicity in the Syrian war. This was never a pro-democracy uprising. It was a Western-backed criminal regime-change operation that was unleashed in March 2011, and which is now staring at ignominious defeat."
The article also gives us a great example of what "fake news" really is, courtesy of CNN

As a former intelligence agent, here are my thoughts on the leaked emails.
In my professional opinion, the Russian intelligence services are not the ones responsible for the release of Democratic National Committee emails, nor are they responsible for the release of the emails of Clinton campaign manager John Podesta.
The story of how these emails came into public light is already public knowledge. We are this through some of the emails themselves. They weren't actually hacked at all. They were phished.
The best state sponsored computer network exploitation (CNE) hackers in the world generally come from the US, China, Russia and a few Western European nations like Britain and Germany. Russia has a good CNE apparatus. They don't use cheap methods and they do a good job of covering their tracks. In my opinion, they are nearly on par with the Chinese. For what it's worth, I do have professional experience in the collection of intelligence information against state sponsored CNE in East Asia, where I personally collected the IP addresses and names of six Chinese CNE operators in 2012.
The mainstream media is falling over themselves to delegitimize Trump's election victory (and his upcoming presidency) by convincing the public that the Russians put him in power by illegally hacking into the democrats' network and rigging the election. The problem with that lie is that there is zero evidence of this. The circumstances and methods don't even make sense for this to be a state sponsored CNE activity. We already KNOW that Podesta and the people he worked with shared their passwords with whoever conducted the phishing attacks by clicking on fake links sent to them in some of the emails that are now public record.
Professional, state sponsored CNE actors are not going to use phishing emails to obtain information at the highest levels. Once upon a time, this was a common method, but not so much in 2016, and not so much when the actors are Russian or European (the Chinese still try sometimes with low and mid level bureaucrats). Phishing attacks are fairly simple to either trace back to the sender or to simply close the "door" that the sender used once they've obtained access.
Aside from the Podesta group allowing their emails to be phished, we still have the recent claim by Craig Murray, a close associate of Wikileaks founder Julian Assange, that he personally met with a DNC operative who was angry that Hillary Clinton had cheated Bernie Sanders out of the party nomination, and who handed him much of what we see on Wikileaks' DNC files. Who was this source? Was it Seth Rich, the young DNC worker who was murdered in Washington DC in what we were told was a botched robbery? He was previously a Bernie Sanders supporter. He was shot four times in the back while walking at night on a sidewalk, and his belongings, including his cash, were untouched.
I feel it is much more likely that these supposed Russian hacks are not hacks at all, but are in fact, LEAKS from the DNC itself and from disgruntled intelligence community agents aiming to expose the fraud and liar that is Hillary Clinton and her inner circle.
But we need to all be clear on something. It isn't the "hacks" or the "leaks" that doomed her campaign. It was her behaviors, her statements, her positions and the CONTENT of those leaked emails that lost her the election.
Why are the democrats losing so much?
You can't attack the single largest group of voters on a constant basis and expect them to vote for you. Calling people racist, sexist, bigots, deplorable, bitter Bible clingers and evil gun nuts is going to make them hate you and they will not vote for you. If you label them "irredeemable", just as Hillary Clinton did, then they figure they have nothing to lose by voting for a guy for no other reason than to poke a stick in your eye.
You can't focus solely on issues that MIGHT affect a minuscule fraction of the population and ignore the issues that are guaranteed to touch every single person and then expect to win.
If attacking gun rights has cost your party nearly a thousand nationwide legislature seats and several governors, and now the White House, then why would you continue to do so?
The democrats have convinced themselves that the left is the majority in America. Many of us have always felt like this is untrue. Ignoring the true philosophical majority (middle-right conservatives) in America doesn't actually cause that majority to disappear. That majority has finally shed the idea that because they are the minority (they aren't) that it means they are wasting their time by even showing up to the polls. They have shown up for the last few elections, including the most recent general election, and they delivered a stern message to the left.
I personally hope that the democrats and the left do NOT heed the advice in article (top link) or the points in my post here. While I do not want to see a single party government running things, we have no need for a far-left, Liberty-hating party like the Democratic Party. The author of the article suggests that he'd like to see the libertarian party replace the democrats. As unlikely as that is, America would benefit greatly if we had the R's and the L's competing for Congressional seats instead of the R's and D's. It could result in the two parties actively trying to out-Liberty each other to get your votes, kind of like when businesses compete for your patronage.
Wouldn't that be nice?

The country threw itself full speed and full hearted into WWII and never doubted itself. Hard resolve was not something to be had or not had. It just was. The effects of that war on history will be felt forever, good or bad. But that is not how we judge the merits of WWII. Some events' merits are judged by what caused them and others by what they caused. WWII is the former.

Maybe I should have been more leery of the Internet players themselves. Seems Google isn't really into that whole "free speech" stuff.
I've said it before that the easiest way for the federal government to infringe on the free speech bit of the First Amendment is to simply get non-state actors to do the leg work for them. If the Feds can't legally shut you up, they'll find someone who can and will just have them do it.

Things are not looking good for Clinton.
Adapting to the flow of information and truth
I know for a fact that Hillary AIMS to dismantle the US Constitution and erode our liberties to subjugate us. While I believe Trump has the ability to do the same thing, I do NOT believe that he aims to do so. Additionally, he has surrounded himself with a number of strong Constitutionalist organizations and people, and I am ready to vote for Trump on the assumption that he is willing to keep them around and heed their advice. Without the advice of close by Constitutionalists, he will revert to his reflexes, which are to lean leftward. His complete lack of understanding of the purpose and meaning of the US Constitution as a document that is written in order to protect us from HIM (or Hillary) is something that MUST be remedied. I am willing to vote for Trump on the assumption that he has people near him that are working on this. In speeches in my home state of Florida, he has mentioned the US Constitution, which is an improvement from earlier in the campaign, when he rarely would do so.
In 1776 the revolution was begun (really 1775, or even earlier) by colonists who included statesmen, soldiers, politicians, drunkards, womanizers, bar fighters, scoundrels, antagonizers, criminals, spies and traitors (to the crown). If we are to turn the country around, we don't have enough people to do it if we exclude the usefulness of the people who do not always meet our standards. While this does not mean we need the likes of scum like John McCain or Mitch McConnell, we may very be able to use the services of people like Jeff Miller, Marco Rubio, or even Donald Trump.
I am willing to support Trump enough to vote for him (at least for today, November 2nd, because who knows what's going to happen tomorrow), though I am still not confident my vote even matters though, or will be counted correctly, so that helps my willingness to vote for him, since I'm not sure it matters anyway. I don't believe there is any voting our way out of the problems we face. But as Trump has evolved through these few months, he has evolved in a direction I can definitely support. If a candidate is able to see some light and change his views as he discovers more truth, then a person must be able to change their own actions based on that. One group of people are truly in the bag for a candidate no matter what happens, and the other group is in truly in the bag against a candidate no matter what happens. Both groups are wrong. We need to be able to adapt our views and actions as we discover more truth.
Proof that Hillary Clinton was given advance notice of questions to be asked at CNN debate.

Thanks to Wikileaks, we can all now see with our own eyes the corruption in the media and DC.

28 pages that point the finger at Saudi Arabia.
The pages show a very strong connection between Saudi intelligence officials and several of the 9-11 hijackers. This is not a conspiracy theory. At least one Saudi Embassy employee was named in the report, a security guard. More importantly, the report shows that a Saudi Interior Ministry official was also connected to at least one hijacker, but was able to leave the US before FBI agents could locate and interview him. If you're so inclined, you'll also read how Saudi officials were involved in providing Saudi government funding (to the tune of more than $3,000 USD per month) to some of the hijackers during the months leading up to the attacks.
Read the 28 pages for yourself here straight from the source. If you must save time, skip a few pages down to page 6 and start there. Within one paragraph it should start becoming clear.

The difference and overlap between "preppers" and "survivalists"
There are some differences and some overlap when it comes to what we call "preppers" and what we call survivalists". A textbook survivalist is likely to be a nomad, a resourceful minimalist who can live off the land for lengthy periods during times of plenty and during times of societal strife. You could say they resemble the old west mountain men rather than the pioneering frontier settlers. Some may band together in groups, becoming more like partisans than simple singular survivalists.
Preppers look quite different. They often strive to obtain secure, remote compounds outfitted to continue their life style without feeling the major effects of whatever disaster they've chosen to prepare for. They're often staffed with more than just a few people and sometimes have a "prepper group" that plans to meet at the compound upon the onset of the upcoming event. They are well equipped, possessing good communications equipment and power generation, large stores of water, food, fuel, medical supplies and other security provisions like guns and ammo. Many are former military, police or professional security. The preppers in this scenario are making their bet that they can outlast whatever comes their way.
The overlappers are the ones who live in (or move to, as I am currently doing) rural areas and live an increasingly self-sufficient lifestyle with their families. Some of them are "hippies" without that socialist streak, others are trying to live the way they imagine their great grandparents might have lived (with some modern adaptations, of course), and then you have some who actually have always lived like this. Seemingly common to all of them is this sort of "borderlands mentality", meaning a desire for armed self sufficiency, an inherent distrust of government "authority" and a feeling of being an outside observer only occasionally penetrating the borders of society before slipping back out. This subsection of people is also filled with former warfighters. They collect and filter rainwater, grow large gardens, learn skills (medical, marksmanship, canning, etc.) and generally keep to themselves.
The last group would be the urbanites and even some suburbanites. They have little to no chance here. Cities and suburbs are densely inhabited and almost totally supplied from across the country. They're being run by countless committees of "experts" who have likely never produced anything of substance in their lives. Nearly all commerce consists of distributing, selling, stealing, replacing and disposing of junk that the urbanites did not produce and never could produce. Many peddle pacifiers for a living and other get paid to do little more than talk. "Networking" seems to be everyone's second profession. People are hired and fired based on "diversity", merit means nothing anymore. There is a liberal arts degree to be found around every corner. Graphic designers must be in very high demand. Too bad they don't actually produce anything tangible.
The few urbanites who are aware that something is coming have convinced themselves that they'll see the disaster coming before everyone else and simply take a drive up to the family cabin in the mountains while society collapses behind them. They'll have no trouble getting there because again, they're the only ones with a clue, so the roads will be clear. Plus, they know a guy with a remote property they can depend on to take care of them. They'll just load up on supplies before they leave town, the shelves won't be empty because they're way ahead of everyone else. After the government agents swoop in and make everything okay again they'll return to their untouched home with lots of stories to tell. Their friends will be in awe of their resourcefulness and ask their advice in all matters. Again, the urbanites have little chance.

Psalm 91
Psalm 91
1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust."
3 Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare
and from the deadly pestilence.
4 He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
5 You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
8 You will only observe with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.
9 If you make the Most High your dwelling- even the LORD, who is my refuge-
10 then no harm will befall you,
no disaster will come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;
12 they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread upon the lion and the cobra;
you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
14 "Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 He will call upon me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life will I satisfy him
and show him my salvation."

This still applies today.
"Before a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed; as they are in almost every kingdom of Europe. The supreme power in America cannot enforce unjust laws by the sword; because the whole body of the people are armed, and constitute a force superior to any band of regular troops that can be, on any pretence, raised in the United States."
